Terms of Service
Change of direction
After a project has been initiated, if a client requests a severe change in direction on how a website looks or operates, there will be a $50.00 development fee. Minor changes will be free of charge as long as the project has not been completed.
OWNERSHIP AND COPYRIGHT
All text and photos used as content in a commissioned website must be provided by the client, unless copywriting service has been provided by New Corporate Image. The client must have ownership or written permission to use all content he/she provides for use. It is up to each client to ensure his/her design and/or content does not infringe on any trademark, service mark, or copyright. New Corporate Image cannot be responsible for intellectual property infringements on behalf of clients.
Termination of service
If the client changes his/her mind about doing work with New Corporate Image during the course of the initial web design or development phase, the client will be responsible for the amount of work already completed. Depending on the amount of work completed at the time of cancellation, this may mean receiving a full refund, a partial refund, no refund, or owing additional fees. Clients requesting a termination of service must do so in writing or e-mail.
OWNERSHIP OF WEBSITE
Upon completion of a custom website design and payment of web design and development fees, the client is the owner of the commissioned website. The client may continue to use the commissioned website to promote the client's company or organization regardless of whether he/she chooses to continue further services with New Corporate Image. The client does not have the right to resell the design or development to other companies. The client does have the right modify or add pages onto the existing site or have another company modify or add pages onto the existing site using the commissioned website design/development.
Project Initiation
The initiation of a project requires a signed or electronically submitted consent, payment for half of the initial web design/development fees for custom website projects or the first month payment in full for an SEO or PPC campaign, plus any element that is required to be used in the project, such as a predetermined logo or account names and passwords.
Refusal of service
New Corporate Image reserves the right to refuse service to any client at any time for any reason. If a client requests a service not offered by us, or requires a technology other than what we offer after a project has already been initiated, the client is responsible for the cost of all work completed at the time of cancellation.
